The two treed landscape photos are the most striking to me, especially the thin black trunks against the white snow background

I also found the two crane photos to be quite beautiful.

Will you be doing any shows in 2012?

Excellent comparison of images and I would echoe everything you say. Many people don’t realise just how much difference the light can really make. I am finding myself working closer to sunrise and sunset simply to get the quality of light and the right amount of shadows that give texture to the landscape..

Beautiful series of Autumn photos. Love the control of the HDR images, which you were able to maintain a nice “Natural” look to them. The “Crystal Mill” I can tell is an HDR,even though it has a natural look, it also has a slight “Painterly Look!” That is one of the things I like about HDR!

I look forward to more Autumn photographs from you!

Us, Strattons (aka your groupies) will be sure to be at a many as we can! So far been to 2 (though I don’t see the Boulder one listed) and plan obj going to the Longmont one (Oct 16). Can’t wait to see the new works of art!
